Dr. Harold F. Farber, M.D.


Dr. Farber went to George Washington High School in Philadelphia, PA. He then attended Pennsylvania State University with a BA in General Arts and Sciences.



Dr. Farber began his medical training at Albany Medical College, receiving recognition for academic excellence in various fields including Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, and Obstetrics & Gynecology.



Dr. Harold Farber performed his Internal Medicine internship at Albany Medical Center, when he accepted a position in the Department of Dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He remained there for his residency and was asked to be Chief Resident of Dermatology.

Dr. Farber, aside from having a busy private practice, treats many patients who are unable to afford care, and volunteers for numerous clinics and skin-cancer screening events. He has been asked to be a guest lecturer for various dematological societies including the Philadelphia Dermatological Society and the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology. He is on several advisory boards and has participated in clinical research to advance the science and study of dermatology. He has participated in multiple physician education events and has received numerous nominations for "Best Physician" from local as well as national and international papers and sources. He continues to serve as a mentor and physicians resource for medical students.
